Webinar e Opening
On Tuesday 12 April, the President Giuliano Mosconi and the CEO Enrico Cavallari kicked off the celebrations for Quaderna's 50th anniversary by presenting the three unpublished projects to the Zanotta sales network and customers through a webinar in live streaming worldwide.
Enrico Morteo, historian and critic of design has related the genesis of the Quaderna project starting from the story of Superstudio: one of the most extraordinary chapters of Italian architecture.
To celebrate Quaderna's 50th anniversary, the Zanotta House Milano window in Piazza XXV Aprile shows a chequered total look. Inside there is a hypnotic installation dedicated to the eight architectural pieces that make up the collection today. When one gets in you get the effect of crossing the threshold of a chequered world.
The exhibition is accompanied by didactic panels, video projections and original materials from the Toraldo di Francia Archive to deepen the socio-cultural context of Superstudio and tell the theoretical and design origin of the collection that has become a manifesto of radical design.
On the evening of April 12th , Zanotta inaugurated the exhibition with an event dedicated to its network. The Quaderna 50 installation will remain on display and open to the public until May 31st.
