We are thrilled to announce that the Elipse chair and Kim sofa have been selected as a Best of Year honoree by Interior Design Magazine.
On Friday, November 30 at New York’s lavishly decorated Jacob K Javitz Convention Center, Cindy Allen–the Editor in Chief of the magazine–displayed the finalists across several massive screens to a packed house. From more than 2,000 submission from around the world, the annual Best of Year awards were given out to a dazzling array of honorees, representing the creme de la creme.
Categories for product and projects brought together an impressive who’s who of the design world to celebrate this honor.
Now in its 13th year, Best of Year is the design community’s premiere awards program, and the industry’s ultimate measure of excellence across the full gamut of design categories. The already awarded Elipse chair, created for Zanotta by Patrick Jouin, and the Kim sofa, designed by Roberto and Ludovoca Palomba, were honorees in the “Residential Seating” category, earning prominent placement in the magazine’s December issue, as on their website.
More enduringly, with this covetable distinction on the world stage, Zanotta’s Elipse and Kim enter the pantheon of great design introduced by the brand since 1954 — a tradition of unfettered innovation and far-flung partnership by which Zanotta continues to push the very limits of creative expression.
