18 Italian companies were selected out of more than 2,500 “Ones to Watch” by an independent jury composed of business leaders, politicians and academics. The only one in the design industry to do so, the Tecno, Zanotta and io.T Solutions Group has today been awarded the title of National Winner in the innovation category for its business success.
The nomination is obtained thanks to the process of innovation and expansion over recent years: from the common project for Tecno and Zanotta, to the creation of its spin-off IO.T Solutions and finally the partnership with Californian company CommonGrounds for the construction of coworking spaces in the USA, as well as its work in architecture and prestigious collaborations around the globe with Renzo Piano in Paris, Foster + Partners and Daniel Libeskind.
Now in their 13th annual edition, the European Business Awards are one of the largest and most prestigious business competitions in the world: this year around 120,000 companies from a wide variety of industries in 34 countries were considered for the awards. The purpose of the prize, recognised for the transparency and rigour of its awards process, is to develop a stronger, more innovative and more ethical European business community, in the conviction that business can play a key role in responding to the challenges faced by the world today.
