Zanotta at Milan Design Week 2025: New Collaborations and Re-editions of Iconic Designs
Zanotta takes part in Milan Design Week 2025 with a dynamic presentation of new collaborations, international partnerships, and re-editions of iconic pieces—further cementing its role as a key player in the world of contemporary design.
New Collaborations and Collections
Pierre Charpin: Riga-Riga Collection
French designer and artist Pierre Charpin presents the Riga-Riga collection, featuring a sculptural table and sideboard. Characterised by an artisanal inlay pattern of ash wood and polished coloured glass, the pieces explore the expressive possibilities of materials in shaping rhythm, colour, and three-dimensional visual impact—positioning the collection firmly within the artistic realm.
Vincent Van Duysen: Fedrigo SofaBelgian designer Vincent Van Duysen signs Fedrigo, a modular sofa system designed for optimal comfort and well-being. With generous proportions, a plywood and expanded polyurethane structure featuring CIRCULARREFOAM® recycled polyols, and upholstery in recycled PET fixed with Velcro, Fedrigo is a sustainable, fully disassemblable sofa engineered for end-of-life recycling.
Muller Van Severen: Z24 Collection
Following the successful collaboration with Muller
Van Severen, the Z24 Books freestanding bookcase is now joined by a new series of chests of drawers. The bookcase, available in two heights, features glossy lacquered metal sides with a distinctive zig-zag pattern and fixed shelves in natural oak, offering a striking contrast of materials and a rhythmic, geometric design. The 2025 additions reinterpret the zig-zag motif horizontally through drawer units in varying sizes, colours, and angles—reinforcing the cohesive identity of the Z24 collection while preserving the uniqueness of each piece.
Christian Woo: Zymmo Collection
Canadian artist Christian Woo makes his debut in the living world with Zymmo, a collection of side tables and poufs. These bold, essential pieces are rooted in the archetypal honesty of form. Devoid of visual or contextual noise, the collection conveys a sense of timeless beauty.
Francesca Lanzavecchia: Yori-Kiri Lounge Chair
Designer Francesca Lanzavecchia introduces Yori-Kiri, a sculptural lounge chair with a matching pouf. Its discreet swivel mechanism is integrated within a sleek metal base, allowing for freedom of movement without compromising elegance. Sculpted forms and tailored details express a dialogue between craftsmanship and innovation, enhancing the iconic character of the piece.
Calvi Brambilla: Nellee Chair and Ettaro Carpet
Zanotta’s Art Directors, Calvi Brambilla, present Nellee, a chair defined by its essential shapes and upholstered in fabric or leather—designed to complement even the most elaborate tables. The new Ettaro carpet, hand-knotted in wool and cotton, features a dual-height structure that creates visual depth and a rhythmic interplay of geometric graphics reminiscent of a ploughed field.
Zaven: Low Bol Side Tables and V-Bol VasesThe Venetian design duo Zaven introduces Low Bol, a set of side tables inspired by the iconic legs of the Bol table. Available in two heights, their concave shape allows for versatile arrangements. The V-Bol vases reinterpret the Bol table’s leg silhouette into four distinct forms, each presented in a unique colour—offering vibrant modularity within the Zanotta catalogue.
Re-editions of Design Icons
Marcuso Table by Marco ZanusoOriginally designed in 1969, the Marcuso table by Marco Zanuso is reintroduced. A pioneering example of engineering innovation, it was the first table to apply automotive techniques to bond stainless steel with crystal. The re-edition includes the original stainless steel and crystal version (also available in 120 cm and 150 cm round formats), reaffirming its place in design history.
Cuculia Collection by Alessandro Mendini
Zanotta expands Alessandro Mendini’s Cuculia collection with the introduction of a new bowl. This addition enriches the family of containers known for their unmistakable sculptural design.
Sacco Armchair
The Sacco armchair—created in 1968 by Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini, and Franco Teodoro—is presented in the new Tux fabric, available in a fresh palette of vibrant colours. A radical icon of Italian design, Sacco remains an informal, versatile, irreverent, and ergonomic seating solution. Its legacy continues to evolve through new materials and cultural collaborations.
With these new proposals, Zanotta reaffirms its commitment to advancing contemporary design while celebrating the timeless value of its historic icons—offering elegant and sustainable solutions for the modern home.
